About Baipaar

Building Success Together

Baipaar bridges Afghan communities and supports Afghan businesses across North America.

Founded by Waheed Jalalzada, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and PhD student at Toronto Metropolitan University, Baipaar was created with a transformative vision: to simplify the lives of Afghan newcomers, strengthen community bonds, and empower Afghan businesses in Canada and the United States.

Currently, Baipaar functions as a dedicated business directory, helping users discover and connect with Afghan-owned businesses across North America. From grocery stores and restaurants to legal services and trades, Baipaar makes it easy for Afghan residents and newcomers to support their own community through everyday purchases and services.

For Newcomers and Entrepreneurs

For newcomers, Baipaar serves as a trusted guide to finding culturally familiar services and professionals. For business owners, it offers a digital platform to increase visibility, build customer loyalty, and reach Afghan communities throughout North America.

More Than a Directory – A Growing Movement

Though it currently operates as a business listing platform, Baipaar’s long-term vision is to evolve into a comprehensive ecosystem supporting jobs, housing, events, and more. The platform is rooted in community values and aims to become a central hub for economic empowerment and cultural connection among Afghan communities in Canada and the U.S.

The name Baipaar, rooted in Dari and Pashto, translates to “loyal customer” or “long-term client” symbolizing the platform’s commitment to building lasting relationships, both personal and professional.
